Middlemarch - A Novel by Literman Stover
In order to fully appreciate Middlemarch, a novel that involves witchcraft, you must first understand the setting of the story. The protagonist in this story is named SAM MACDONNAGE, and he was born and raised in England. His father, a well to do lawyer was an avid pamphleteer and avid reader of the tabloids. Middlemarch is based on the life of SAM Macdonnaise.
In addition to the life of SAM Macdonnaise, Middlemarch also takes us on a voyage of discovery through the colorful and intricate characters of the book. It is obvious in the beginning that Middlemarch wanted to portray all the aspects of the human experience as well as deal with the complex relationships that exist between people. The main character, SAM, was born in a poor family. He was very bright, but was also quite sensitive. Towards the end of the book, you begin to see this sensitivity and compassion being tested when SAM finds himself in a situation that is threatening to leave him and his family alone.
The book's plot follows two unlikely but wonderful couples - MR. AND MRS. PETER and HELEN WOLF. These are the typical British couple, and their story is filled with humor as well as heartache. Readers will find that Middlemarch also deals with emotions other than happiness such as sorrow and grief.
Throughout the novel, Sam Macdonnaise, who is Sam Macdonnaise, is faced with all sorts of problems that he is overcome with while traveling along with his lover to visit his father. He is faced with a dangerous man known as GERRY, who has a crush on HELEN. GERRY attempts to force SAM to marry him by threatening to reveal secrets about HELEN and her family.
Throughout the novel, Sam and HELEN seem to be on the verge of happiness. However, this happiness is interrupted when SAM finds out about HELEN's affair with another man. At this point in the story, it is revealed that HELEN was not only having an affair but was also using the man as a pimp. This act was not against the law, but SAM was convinced that she should pay the price for her love of the man named GERRY.
I believe that readers must confess their love for Middlemarch because of the characters' unique journey through life. The book vignettes Sam and HELEN's relationship, which are brief, but very sweet. This romance was not only set in a small town, but was also written in a way that felt very real. Readers must confess their love for Middlemarch: A Novel bylitopher Lydgate.
